‘Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy’

Launched in conjunction with the 20th anniversary of the video game “Final Fantasy,” this concert tour features the music of Japanese video game composer Nobuo Uematsu. The multimedia experience combines stirring screen images to match the soaring emotions of a symphony orchestra performing music from Square Enix’s world-renowned Final Fantasy video game series.

‘A Broadway Revue Revisited’

The Ensemble Theater presents its Young Performers Program Session III students in their program finale performance, “A Broadway Revue Revisited.” The story of a struggling Broadway theater company who has just experienced the passing of their beloved owner. With uncertainty in the air as new leadership threatens the future of the theater, the performers of the company process their thoughts, emotions and opinions through their art.

Trae Day Family Funday

The annual event is for Trae enthusiasts of all ages, with appearances by some of his musical pals, a procession of slabs, rides, games, animals, school supply and backpack giveaways.

Houston World Series of Dog Shows

Talented canines will compete in a series of events, across 150 different breeds, vying for the coveted “Best in Show” title. Competitive events include flyball, a Frisbee exhibition, creative grooming and canine musical freestyle.

Anime Matsuri 2022

PEARLAND

Houston Cricket Festival

Minor League Cricket presents the first ever Houston Cricket Festival at the new Moosa Stadium. The event includes a doubleheader of Minor League Cricket matches, Lone Star Athletics vs. Houston Hurricanes and Dallas Mustangs vs. Saint Louis Americans. The games will feature star-powered rosters of domestic and international cricketers, including New Zealand’s Corey Anderson, Canada’s Nitish Kumar, Pakistan’s Jannisar Khan, South Africa’s Justin Dill, West Indies’ Ashley Nurse and USA Cricket’s Ali Khan. There will be meet and greet opportunities, local food trucks, music, giveaways and a free half-hour cricket clinic for young fans.
